Patrol #3………… (previously Patrol #4)

NOTE: THERE ARE 3 STEPS REQUIRED TO OBTAIN THE “P” (PATROL) ENDORSEMENT.

1. Patrol #1, formally Patrol #1/#2 in 2022

2. Patrol #2, formally Patrol #3 in 2022

3. Patrol #3-Patrol Rifle Class with test , formally Patrol #4 in 2022

Who: Current phase 4 members that have completed previous in 2022-Patrol #1(Pre-Req), #2, and #3 classes or the Patrol #1, Patrol #2 classes in 2023.

 What:

-Meet Friday evening and camp overnight

-Saturday morning, pack up camp gear after breakfast

-Begin 2 mile Hike.

-Testable shooting stations are embedded within the 2 mile hike.

-Backpack can be grounded while shooting but worn between stations.

**Participants that successfully pass the standard will be eligible for the “P” (Patrol) Endorsement on Able Shepherd coin.

When: Friday/Saturday OCT 20-21, 2023

-Meeting Friday evening at 5pm; camp overnight

-Testable event begins Saturday morning after camp breakfast

Where: The Hudick Ranch (private residence)

COST: $200

Gear list:

Layered clothing that you can patrol in and shoot from various positions

Full kit (AR plus 7 mags: 6 on body, 1 in gun)

Camp Gear (Tent, ground pad, Sleeping bag, etc.)

Backpack w camp gear (Must carry camp gear, will not shoot wearing pack). Pack in/Pack out

Food for camp dinner and breakfast (ex. Freeze Dried, jerky, etc.)

Water for camp and to hydrate during patrol event
