Patrol Endorsement (Patrol #1, #2, #3) All Parts (SIM/LIVE)
NOTE: THERE ARE 3 STEPS REQUIRED TO OBTAIN THE “P” (PATROL) ENDORSEMENT, THEY ALL HAPPEN IN ONE 10 HOUR EVENT)
WHO:
CURRENT Phase 4 (ABLE SHEPHERD CERTIFIED)
WHY:
This course will serve as a practical application of the skills developed throughout the Patrol Series thus far. In Part 1 students will practice the Dirt-Dive portions of patrol tactics on contact. This will develop the recognition and coordination necessary to quickly and correctly initiate the desired commands effectively as a team. Part 2 will serve as an actual insert, patrol, recon, hostage rescue and hot extract. Stations will initiate simultaneously and upon completion will rotate. Part 3 will conduct the Patrol Test (LIVE Fire). The parts happen in no particular order.
WHAT:
This will be a 3-part event:
· Part 1: Presenting and Dirt diving the Tactics regarding Patrol and all skills to apply in a real-life encounter.
· Part 2: Insert to Patrol, to Recon, to Hostage Rescue, to Hot Extract.
· Part 3: Testing begins:
· Begin 2-mile Hike, with backpack and gear for camping. Note* Camp overnight is no longer a requirement as the entire Patrol will take place in one day.
· Testable shooting stations are embedded within the 2-mile hike.
· Backpack can be grounded while shooting but worn between stations.

**Participants that successfully pass the standard will be eligible for the “P” (Patrol) Endorsement on Able Shepherd coin.
If you are just needing to Re-Test – please reach out to our Admin Staff to get you taken care of. The cost for that will only be $125 and you will just arrive for the overnight camp and the test in the AM.
If you have already taken Patrol #1 and are going to be doing Patrol #2 and #3 Please reach out to our admin staff and we will work on cost for you.
Gear list:
Layered clothing that you can patrol in and shoot from various positions
Full kit (AR plus 7 mags: 6 on body, 1 in gun)
Camp Gear (Tent, ground pad, Sleeping bag, etc.)
Backpack w camp gear (Must carry camp gear, will not shoot wearing pack). Pack in/Pack out
Food for camp dinner and breakfast (ex. Freeze Dried, jerky, etc.)
Water for camp and to hydrate during patrol event
