Stop The Bleed
In this course students will learn the basic emergency bleeding control products and techniques. The course instructor will present products and applicable skills associated with the basic Able Shepherd emergence vehicle kit to include:
• Scene assessment
• Primary assessment
• Wound packing
• Tourniquet placement
What Material Students Are Responsible For:
• Water bottle
Attire
• Good shoes or boots you are able to move freely in
• Clothing you can move freely in
NOTE - Important Information
• Please do not bring any live gear to class
• This class is required in order to test for Protector Certification
PREREQUISITE: None - Anyone can take this class
